What Can We Do In Ghor Haditha?

Traveling south from the Dead Sea the road passes through the small village of Ghor Haditha.  It's an area that reminds us of Wendover--very barren and dry.

LDS Charities recently donated 50 wheelchairs to the Ghor Haditha society and they were very grateful.  We stopped by to check on how they are doing and see if they need any more help.

One of the issues they brought up was how to repair the wheelchairs.  We suggested they use a local bicycle repair shop and we would provide the parts.

Another topic of interested to us was education for the children in the area.  We were told there are schools and teachers available but the children don't want to go because the classes are boring and the teachers aren't very creative. We're not sure what to do about that!
